I have been using PGV for two years or so probably. I finally decided that I need to start giving back to the project. I have recently (Jan. 2008) joined the dev team and look forward to helping out. I am completely new to PHP though I am competent in Perl/Python. I would really like to help out with the move to MVC and will help in particular with the 'M' part. :) I am going to work on better database support.
Thoughts on development:
- Deprecate PHP4
- Deprecate PEAR::DB and move onto something actively in development
- Use CSS
- Create a useable API for modules (I would like to help with this too)
