Adding a GEDCOM

Follow the steps below to set up your first GEDCOM (family tree) and be on your way in no time.

Adding a GEDCOM

1. Click Create a new GEDCOM
2. Enter a name for the family tree under GEDCOM Title (Eg. Smith-Jones Family). Next, enter something under Path and name of GEDCOM on server, preferably the same name as GEDCOM Title, in this case "Smith-Jones Family."
3. Click Save Configuration
4. On the following page click Continue. You should then be taken back to the GEDCOM Administration page, where you started.
5. Click the Import link above the red text This GEDCOM has not yet been imported.
6. On the following page click Continue.
7. Look for Import Complete on the left in red. Congratulations, this means you have successfully started a GEDCOM (family tree).
