This error is probably due to a genealogy software application exporting a GEDCOM file with non-standard flags. There are three options when PhpGedView displays this message:

  1. Check for a standard GEDCOM export option from your genealogy software application and import the newly exported GEDCOM file
  2. Have PhpGedView ignore non-standard flags as explained in the 'Hide GEDCOM Errors' section of http://wiki.phpgedview.net/en/index.php?title=Configuration_-_Display_and_Layout_-_Hide_and_Show
  3. Ignore the error as it does not affect PhpGedView
