The URL to your homepage is broken/no longer works - could you update it on all PGVWiki pages? For easier maintenance in future it would probably be better to just have the link here on your user page, and link other pages to this rather than the URL - you only have to update the link in one place :) --Nath 20:40, 29 October 2007 (EST)

About me

I am a 45 year old male from Australia, with many and varied interests, including music, art, philosophy, fishing and family. I also enjoy motorcycle riding, and the odd surf when i can manage it. I have been playing guitar since i was about 12 and played in bands for about ten years untill i was 30. I have also been playing around with computers for some time, i hope one day i can get them to do what i want, you would think they would be used to me by now ;-)

I have always had a deep interest in my family history and a fascination for the pioneers of this beautiful country of ours. We can only scratch the surface of that now, and sadly much is lost in the sands of time.

I believe it is important for all of us to preserve our family histories to pass on to future generations, make the time and take the opportunity make a start now, while you have older generations that can remember things about your family history before they dissapear.

My Site

Thanks to PhpGedView and DragonflyCMS i have been able to turn this interest into a comprehensive website for my family history research and other personal interests, my site is still evolving and will continue to do so as my own skills and abilities increase. It is teaching me web design and graphics which are things i have been interested in for some time. This site Pretzy's Place is the culmination of that interest and my attempt to give something back to those who came before, a thank you as it were, and a tribute to them all. It will hopefully also serve as a continuing resource to everyone with similar interests in my families history.
