The RECORD structure is the most used section of the GEDCOM file because this is where all the genealogical information is recorded. There are 7 types of records, but PhpGedView does not support the Note Record nor the Submitter Record. In addition to one Header and one Trailer the Gedcom file contains nothing but records. The structures within records describe the record content and can reference other records.
