good to see you adding. If I can be of any other help let me know. --Laurie Lewis 22:38, 7 April 2006 (EST)

I have fixed up the thumbnails. My fault, I forgot to put a command name in the configuration file. You are obviously the first person to use thumbnails since I moved the wiki to a new server. I have set up the German wiki but I am in the process of moving to version 1.6 and had some problems over the weekend with the conversion and had to go back, so give me a bit more time and I will let you know when the new version is up (it changes all the databases). I will also give you sysop status for the German language wiki. I will start it as a clean install so you (or anyone else) can copy and convert at your convenience.

If you use firefox there is an extension that gives you ability to put tables etc into your pages fairly easily. --Laurie Lewis 06:58, 10 April 2006 (EST)

Hi again, To be honest I don't know how to do the colours outside of a table - never looked at it. Not sure that I would like it in the wiki to be honest - if you find out how to do it give it a go and we will see how it looks.

Inter-wiki links are fairly simple - at the bottom of the page there should be something like this

<!-- Language links...DO NOT DELETE. Talk to User:Laurie about adding languages -->
[[da:Forside]]

It is broken down into the language code - your case "de" and then the correct name of the page in the language being referred to. So you would add this to the english page:-

[[de:Hauptseite]]

and you would add this to the German page

[[en:Main Page]]

These should be added alphabetically by language code for ease of finding.

This example is obviusly for the front page. The same applies to all page titles. All the links related to the language code are done by me in the database - I have not done them yet as I have to do the update to 1.63 and I have db conversion problems. (I will try and do them today as we will probably stay with version 1.57 for a few more days (weeks) as it is working ok and I have some other major priorities.

BTW --~~~~ includes your sigature and date for messages. Makes it easier to find your latest message. Start an area for yourself in my talk space like I have for you.

Hi again Markus, Links are setup. I put the front page there using a copy and paste. The only problem I saw was that you need to be logged into upload images and that the user information is not being spread across the wikis. I will try and fix that up but till then do what you need to do. It will get upgraded to 1.63 at the same time as the other two. I will probably need to ask you questions as navigating is quite difficult if you can't speak German. If I can help with anything just let me know. --Laurie Lewis 09:20, 13 April 2006 (EST)
